AUTO SALON STORMS INTO THE GOLD COAST!
The scene has been itching for this year’s Auto Salon events, and the second east coast event in the Gold Coast is just around the corner! As promised, for 2010 we’ll be delivering action-packed events with a host of features. In the lead up to Auto Salon Gold Coast we’ll be revealing some of the exclusive features you can expect to see, so make sure you stay tuned to autosalon.com.au! 

THE 2000HP GOLD-PLATED BMW! 
Having absolutely blown people away in Melbourne, Queen St Custom’s jaw-dropping BMW drag car, with its 23k gold-plating covering the entire engine, the wheels, brakes, wheelie bars and even the driver’s seat is coming to the Gold Coast! Featuring a custom-built quad rotor Mazda engine that is capable of producing 2000hp, the Queen St BMW is half drag car, half show car. Be sure to see this ground-breaking creation in the flesh! 

THE ‘SUBLIME’ SHOW-STOPPER
For the first time in Queensland at the Auto Salon Gold Coast will be the newly created ‘SUBLIME’ S15 Nissan 200SX! The first S15 in the world to feature a Mazda 20B rotary engine conversion, this 200SX features impressive build quality, suicide doors and sheet-metal finished undercarriage. Direct from Sydney!



SEE THE LANDBRUISER!
We can now reveal that Twisted Metal’s notorious ‘Landbruiser’ will be present in all it's glory for all to see at Gold Coast Auto Salon. With more than 30-inches slashed from its ride height, this is arguably the world’s lowest Landcruiser. Even with 22s it’s still able to grind the asphalt! This is a custom creation that literally has to be seen to be believed.



MIGHTYCARMODS LIVE ON THE GOLD COAST!
Mightycarmods, the You Tube sensation, will be appearing live at Auto Salon Gold Coast! Both Marty and Moog will be roaming the halls on Saturday and Sunday, so make sure you say hi; and try to get on camera!



REWIND DANCE CREW
From their street beginnings, Melbourne’s Rewind Dance Crew have set the hip hop world alight. Having performed on The X-Factor, So You Think You Can Dance?, and representing Australia in the World Hip Hop Championships in California, the Rewind crew are now confirmed to tour this year’s Auto Salon series. Make sure to catch their exclusive routines at the Ventus Centre Stage.



VIBE DREDD
Does Vibe’s Dredd car look familiar? That’s because it was originally a prop car in the Hollywood smash Judge Dredd film featuring Sylvester Stallone. Only three of these were ever created – the other two are owned by Stallone – and Vibe Audio have transformed it into one of the world’s most famous audio demo cars.

Having just arrived from the UK where it was built, Auto Salon will be one of the very few places you can see this work of automotive art. The entire vehicle has been transformed into a massive subwoofer speaker port, and it even has 12-inch subs fitted into the wheels! With 20 amplifiers powering the vehicle, it is heralded as the loudest truck in the UK and some 32 times louder than a shotgun!



VIBE BASS TUNNEL
Costing in excess of $100,000, the Vibe Space Gate is a mind-blowing bass tunnel that needs to be experienced to be believed. Featuring 36 Vibe Space II subwoofers and powered by a collection of 16 amplifiers, Vibe’s Space Gate outputs an incredible 38,800 watts – redefining the term ‘earth-shattering bass’.
