The attraction of generic audio gear is the price, and often they are packed to the brim with features. So we just couldn’t resist testing this all singing, all dancing headunit.
When we first found this head unit on eBay, what stood out was its amazing feature set. GPS Navigation with Australian maps, TV tuner, DVD, MP3, DIVX, USB, dual SD card slots, Bluetooth, AUX input, 7-inch touch LCD and dual zone functionality. Pretty much everything that a headunit can possibly do, it can.
Examining the unit we found that list was not filled with empty promises. The GPS navigation does indeed include full Australian maps, with plenty of points of interest and traffic cameras. The maps and navigation software are stored on a 2GB SD card, which is supplied and makes updating the maps and software relatively easy.
